Comments on Bleeding Jungle by Charlie Sundt
- A great, captivating story. Well researched and emotive stuff.
- Most strange... My name is Richard Ollin and the origin of this unusual surname has always been a mystery to me, There aren't many of us and I had assumed that it was a corruption of the much more common Swedish "Olin". Why did you choose to use this name and what does it mean to you? I'd be curious to know
- This story was very good and it was extremely long, too. I hope that you'll write more in the future. Right now I'm working on one called "Could this be love" ~Amber~
- Author's comment: I wrote this story while reading "Chronicle of the Guayaki Indians" (Pierre Clastres), with the aim of trying to develop my skills of characterisation. I think I succeeded to a limited extent, although the structure of the story, particularly when Charlie and Rob come in, could potentially be improved. I like the way Atl develops through the story, and I love the ending. The story is dedicated to my little brother David for bringing me a dictionary.
