Comments on Peggie by Robert Levin
- Beyond the all the lavish and jocular descriptions, lies a story which enthusiastically shakes hands with the notion that morbidly obese people are somewhat less than human. Nice. -Craig
- Ya know even though you found girth rather obscene there are people who love and enjoy it -- for real. Have you forgotten -- beauty is in the eye of the beholder? In your extensive travels have you ever had one with a mustache?
- This isn't a story; it's a long, boring, self-centred anecdote and I want to kill the author. Thanks, John
- I feel the humour is hampered by the use of too many lengthy adjectives. The images are fine but the story would move a lot faster, imo, if the narrator's "voice" was less condescending. Ed.
- I loved it. The search was the thing that kept me hooked. It died a little after the goal was achieved but I still think it was funny and well written for the most part. Well done! The visions it left me with may well disturb my sleep for a while but my psychologist will be happy about that. Thanks
- Kept on to the end, hoping to find what earned the description of hilarious. Never found it! Robert's skill at portraying a character could be put to better use, I think. Tom
