I am Charlie Fish. I live in London, after having moved there from Birmingham, where I completed a law degree at the University of Birmingham in 2002. Since then I have done a variety of jobs, none of them remotely connected to law - or, indeed, each other.
I was born in New York on the 12th of March 1980 to a Greek artist and an English chartered accountant, and have done much travelling since, including a round-the-world trip during my Gap Year. I have lived in England since 1989.
I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in Creative Writing from Birkbeck College, University of London.
My interests (apart from writing) include scuba diving (I'm a PADI Divemaster), getting drunk in the name of charity (I'm a Millennium Volunteer), and playing Scrabble for extremely high stakes. In one of my more successful games of Scrabble in February 2001, I won my beloved girlfriend - now wife - Emma.
